Q: Charlotte, tell us about your personal
contributions to Transcription Plus, LLC.
A: I love working for Transcription Plus! I am currently working
in rheumatology and cardiology and I am being trained in pathology.
My past experience includes 19 years of orthopedics with a bit
of urology, family medicine, neurology, sports medicine and pain
management. I’m a generalist and enjoy all of my work!
Q: How do you describe your work style?
A: I’m a workaholic – and that works for me! I like
to get started early in the morning – you might find this
odd, but I have a treadmill desk and I stand or walk while I work.
I am very busy with my work for Transcription Plus and after work,
I teach ballet.
Q: That sounds very productive. How would a good friend describe
you?
A: This is always a tough question! My friends would say I am
warm, kind and caring.
Q: What do you like about living in Massachusetts?
A: I’m getting to know Southern Massachusetts since moving
here recently. The people are fabulous! I live on the outskirts
of town and have a private lot with lots of trees and wild life
– and I love that. I didn’t get a true sense of a
New England Winter – but this year is a new year so anything
can happen. My husband enjoys our cooler evenings too.
Q: Outside of your career, what goals have you set for yourself?
A: Being new to the area, I would love to fix up my house exactly
the way I want. Dance is a passion and I am very happy teaching
ballet – it’s a big part of my life! My children live
all over the world – Oregon, Tennessee, Dublin Ireland and
Germany – and I would like to travel to see all of them.
Q: What does success mean to you?
A: Success means accomplishing what you set out to do to the best
of your ability and satisfaction. My husband was unemployed for
3 years and I consider myself and my husband successful in our
ability to pay our bills. You need a very good balance in life
– my transcription work pays the bills, which is important.
Dance pays the soul – also important!
Q: Tell me about your hobbies and interests outside of work.
A: Did I mention I am a workaholic? I don’t have a lot of
time for hobbies, but I do enjoy working on my new house and yard.
Q: What motivates you?
A: Does that mean, what gets me out of bed in the morning? That
combination of business and pleasure – my transcription
work is my business and teaching ballet to the next generation
is my pleasure! Both get my heart pumping!
Q: Do you consider yourself a compassionate person and why?
A: Yes, definitely. I care about the trials and tribulations,
the joy and sorrows of my friends.
Q: If you could accomplish one thing this year, what would it
be?
A: Unpack! Five months ago, right before we moved into our house
– a pipe broke flooding the entire house! Needless to say
we had a total renovation and have been living in one part of
the house while work has been done. Tight quarters with the two
of us and our 3 dogs and 4 cats! I look forward to our future!
